Who we are

Independent voices. Shared purpose.

What is a caucus?

A caucus is an independent group of union members working together toward a common goal, without being subject to control by union leadership.

We are members of CWA Local 1168 who have formed C.O.R.H.E. to pursue a more democratic, transparent, and participatory union. We believe in a model where members are involved at every level, stay informed, and have a say in making positive changes in their departments.

How do we function?

Our caucus is an independent, inclusive group of frontline, rank-and-file employees. We discuss workplace concerns and help create plans to address them.

Our team is here to help. We have been working with several floors and departments to fight together and bring change.

We organize through petitions, Zoom meetings, conference calls, buttons, job actions, and more.

What guides us

Our core principles

We believe collective action by union members is central to positive change at work. These actions must:

  1. Put members first.

Reflect that union members are the number one priority over any relationships with management.

  2. Be guided by members’ priorities.

Be guided by what is deeply important to a supermajority of union members—whether in a department, site, job title, or the entire system.

  3. Keep members involved at every step.

Be decided and carried out by the union members affected, at every step.

  4. Build strength and unity.

Build strength and unity. Never divide and conquer.
